Responsible for identifying guest needs and implementing the response to guests’ requests, including the delivery of in room dining and amenities to guest rooms. Additionally, answers phone calls and uses two-way radio to dispatch or receive requests. Shifts vary between 7am-3:30pm & 2:30pm- 11:00pm.
Previous guest service experience, preferably in a luxury resort hospitality environment; High school diploma or equivalent; ability to walk/stand for up to 8 hours/day and lift up to 50 lbs. Ideal candidate will be a positive, professional, guest service oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills in order to build relationships with our guests. Must be available days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.

The Food & Beverage Staff member may work in one or more of the following roles within the Front of the House F&B outlets: Starbucks Barista, Food Runner, Busser, Host, or Server. In all roles, the F&B Staff is responsible for exceeding guest expectations and providing a memorable experience for the guests by providing guests with prompt service, quality food and beverage products, and by maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. F&B Staff will act with a customer comes first attitude, meeting guests’ needs and building loyalty by building relationships with our guests. Shifts vary from early morning to late night.
Previous guest service experience required. Must have the ability to learn quickly, work hard and under pressure, understand and carry out oral and written instructions in English, work as part of a team, and have strong interpersonal skills in order to build relationships with our guests. Position requires handling, eye-hand coordination, walking, standing, stooping, and kneeling. This position may be required to lift, carry, pull or push approximately 21—50 pounds.

The Kitchen Staff member will assist and maintain high quality standards of food and its preparation, service and presentation while maintaining a positive attitude and promoting the enthusiasm of the culinary experience. Will unpack and correctly store all orders in proper locations and containers. Will follow Maya recipes and procedures for food preparation, consistently practicing good food hygiene and safety.
Will assist in dish pit as necessary. Shifts vary from early morning to late night. Previous kitchen experience is preferred, with 6 months to 1 year working in a kitchen environment. Must be a hard worker, be able to work well under pressure and be self-motivated. Must have good organizational and time management skills. Good communication skills—both written and verbal, required in English. Requires standing and carrying for long periods. This position may require lifting, carrying, pulling or pushing of approximately 21—50 pounds.
